A striking image Jenny :).
Great work with the dof and selective colouring. How did you do it? I like the contrast between the bright colours on the butterfly and the monotone background.

For this image I used a Macro 105 2.8 VR that provided a fairly soft background even at 7.1. I processed the photo in Lightroom by adjusting the saturation to the following colors & levels:Red: -39, Orange: +91, Yellow: -100, Green: -100
Then to create even less depth and softer focus, I played with “Kent’s Lens Blur” action in Photoshop. You can find the action at http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm
